This should ensure that the books and records are kept accurately and professionally by qualified bookkeepers or accountants who are able to apply the industry standard measures and controls to prevent and detect fraud misconducts through regular internal audits and controls. Depending on context the policy should require external audits to be conducted annually at a minimum or bi-annually with justification.
